Emerging Mumbai Photographer, Sunil jain bags 2
more Bronze to take his Awards tally to 3 for 2010

Mumbai, 29th June 2010 – Emerging Indian photographer, Sunil Jain, Lead photographer at plagpy, has won 2 bronze awards in this years EPSON International pano awards competition and by doing so he takes his awards tally to 3 for the year 2010. It may be recalled that Sunil Jain, earlier last month, had been adjudged winner of competition, Communication Arts Photography Annual 2010. Both these awards put Sunil jain at par with the very best photographers in the advertising industry not only in India but also in Asia. This award has been achieved from an overall 2740 entries from 79 countries worldwide – which is no mean an achievement by any standards. Early last month Professional and amateur photographers around the world were invited to enter The EPSON International Photographic Pano Awards.

About The EPSON International Photographic Pano Awards
The inaugural 2010 EPSON International Pano Awards is dedicated to the art of panoramic Photography. The EPSON Pano Awards aims to showcase the work of panoramic photographers worldwide and be the largest and most important competition for panoramic photography. Christian Fletcher, well known Australian landscape photographer and member of The Pano Awards judging panel says, “panoramic photography is very popular today but somewhat overlooked in awards. It’s wonderful to have a competition dedicated exclusively to panoramic images.”

The competition is proudly supported by Epson Australia, Lonely Planet, Apollo Motorhome Holidays, 360 Precision, PTGui and Panoramic Images. The judging panel includes some of the world’s top panoramic photographers and industry professionals, including Christian Fletcher, David Hugh Evans, Nick Rains, Jaspal Jandu, Peter Eastway, Christian Fleury, Tom Putt, Glenn Beanland, Michelle Novak and Doug Segal.

Sunil Jain is an alumnus of Light and Life Academy, Ooty, India’s best photography school. He is an On-Location specialist. Panoramas, architecture, corporate, industrial, aerial, travel, lifestyle & action shots are his areas of specialization. He is based out of Mumbai, India. He believes he’s only just getting started, eyeing more of the biggest and most prestigious awards in the photography world. This is the second international acknowledgment of the serious and emerging talent that he is proving to be. His past work & personal projects have been very widely appreciated by the creative’s in the industry.

His complete unpretentiousness and his ability to see things afresh is something that will strike you in every frame of his. Be it the portrayal or characterization of either the person or the scene, it will appear so simple yet striking & above all simply candid. Another very visible difference you will find in him is that he is hardly as flamboyant as his comrades in the industry are. He believes that his signature is not in his style, but in his thoughts & characterization.
